Serious Fitness is a personal training and fitness studio based in Coburg, Melbourne, with regular bootcamp classes held in Coburg, Bulleen and Carlton. Our services include, one-on-one personal training, group personal training and group exercise classes including, Bootcamp, Powercise (like Zumba), Lean Ladies and Knockout - a mixed martial arts based program to get your heart pumping. Our focus is on creating great base fitness, getting results, improving your nutrition, all while having some serious fun!

This exercise is great for improving your abdominal strength, particularly your obliques (the muscles near your waist) as well as improving your posture and core strength.  Click here for this exercise >>

Bench Dips
This exercise is perfect for working on your triceps….or some of you might refer to them as those ‘Tuck-Shop Lady’ arms.  You know, those wobbly bits that you might have when you wave goodbye to your friends. Click here to see how to tone your arms>>

Dumbbell Swing
This exercise is great for burning body fat as it uses so many muscle groups at one time.  Be careful with this one to make sure that you use your legs to gain momentum and keep your core muscles (abdominals) strong.  Check out this exercise...

Reaching Forward Lunges
This exercise is great for training your major leg muscles; quadriceps (front of thighs), hamstrings (back of thighs) and glutes (butt).  This is similar in style to a traditional lunge, so keep this in mind.  This is a good functional exercise, as you may find yourself repeating this move around the home or office when required to lift items.

Rack Chins (Pull Ups)
This is a good exercise to try in your local park, using the metal bars that often circle the grass pitches.

Spiderman Push Ups
This exercise is great for training your triceps, chest, core (abdominals) and your legs.  So it is fantastic for fat burning because it uses so many muscles at one time. Read More>>>
