Serious Fitness is a personal training and fitness studio based in Coburg, Melbourne, with regular bootcamp classes held in Coburg, Bulleen and Carlton. Our services include, one-on-one personal training, group personal training and group exercise classes including, Bootcamp, Powercise (like Zumba), Lean Ladies and Knockout - a mixed martial arts based program to get your heart pumping. Our focus is on creating great base fitness, getting results, improving your nutrition, all while having some serious fun!

Daryl Cooke - loses 6cm from waist!

This month Daryl tackled our Personal Training Challenge, which was to Bench Press 50 reps at 75% of your 1 Repetition Maximum. He managed to do so in 2 minutes 3 seconds.

 

We want to take this time to congratulate Daryl on the effort and achievements he has made since he has been with us.

 

Daryl came to us with all sorts of health problems and injuries. Training is still a challenge for him some days, but he has come a long way. He has lost 3% body fat, 6cm from around his waist and increased his push-ups from 14 to 50 until fatigued.

 

Daryl has been very strict with himself with his eating and with cycling now, to and from the session plus at the weekend. He has proven that putting in the hard work helps you come a long way.

 

Daryl now doesn’t have as many health concerns as when he first started and hopefully by the end of the year he will have even less.
