Russian Twist |

This exercise is great for improving your abdominal strength, particularly your obliques (the muscles near your waist) as well as improving your posture and core strength.
1. Sit on the floor as shown with your feet resting slightly on the floor.
2. Holding onto your own hands, reach around and try to touch the floor on one side near your hips.
3. Twist around and try to touch the floor on the other side as shown.
NOTE: Make sure that you hold your abdominals tight during the entire exercise.
Complete as many as you can
VARIATION: Lift your feet off the floor and hold them there during the entire exercise.
TO MAKE IT EVEN HARDER: Hold onto a weight with your hands.
REMEMBER: STOP IF YOU FEEL SHARP PAIN IN YOUR ABS OR BACK AT ANY TIME.
