Half Burpee
This exercise is great for increasing your fitness and can be done anywhere. The great thing too is that you can set yourself little challenges and gradually increase the amount that you do each time.
It’s called the Half Burpee so we can only assume you will be wanting to do twice as many of them!
1.Starting on the ground crouching on all fours with your hands shoulder width apart with just your toes touching the ground. Make sure that you pull your belly button to your spine and engage your core muscles.
2.Explosively jump both feet back so your legs are straight. Your toes only need to touch the ground for a split second before springing back into the start position
This exercise will work your upper body as well as your abs and legs and as we know guys, the more muscles we engage in an activity, the more calories we burn.
Variations: to make it harder, include a push up in the middle of the movement To make it easier: then you can kick the legs out 1 at a time and slow down the movement.
Just be sure that you have warmed up thoroughly before doing this activity and keep an eye on your lower back, but if you incorporate your abs, this shouldn’t be a problem.
