Here’s an interesting one to try if you’re ever in the studio, or walking through a local park with those solid bar fences. This exercise works your back, your biceps as well as your core (abdominals) muscles as well.
1. Place a bench or other similar object at your feet and position your chest under /in line with the bar. If you can’t elevate your feet then keep your heels on the floor.
2. Position your hands around the bars, with your fingers wrapping over the bar and your palms facing your head.
3. Pull yourself up with elbows parallel to your body. Pull yourself all the way up until your chin is in line with the bar.
4. Lower yourself slowly until you return to the original low position, then repeat movement again.
Set yourself a goal and see how many you can knock out in your first session, then test yourself as your strength increases.
