"I transformed my body in only 12 weeks!" "I tried all sorts of diets and exercise programs, and I managed to get my weight down to around 70kg. But I knew I could look and feel better. I chose Serious Fitness, run by Anne and Bruce Hatfield as I really liked their holistic approach to fitness. Straight away Anne made me feel that my goal was worthwhile and achievable. Some of my friends thought I was a bit a strange, and I needed reassurance. The first thing Anne did was give me a nutritious eating plan because my diet was not very well balanced. The plan consisted mostly of fruit, vegetables, and protein. At first, I found it difficult, but once I started getting results, it got easier. I love going out to dinner, so there were times when it was really hard to make good food choices. I occasionally ate pizza, but because I was keeping a food journal, Anne could see when I'd 'slipped up' but she never told me off. She just praised me for not falling off the wagon completely. I was surprised that I only lost 4kgs in 12 weeks, but I have lost 5 cm off my hips, reduced all my body measurements and my body fat has gone from 30.3% to 23.4%. My clothes fit me better and I have so much more energy to pursue my dream of becoming a psychologist. It just goes to show that you cannot rely on the scales as your measure of accomplishment!" - Kylie
