“Does my butt look big in this?” If you’ve ever uttered those words….then this exercise is for you!
Spring is in the air and the beach weather is coming! This exercise looks easy, but wait until you do the last move…it will have your butt, thighs and back of legs tightened and toned in no time!
1. Lean your back against the wall with your feet shoulder width apart.
2. Bend your knees slightly, slide your back down the wall and keep your butt pushed against the wall. Keep your abs tight! Hold that position for 10 seconds.
3. Lower your body down a little bit further, and hold for another 10 seconds.
4. Lower your body even further and hold for another 10 seconds.
5. Return to original position.
Try for 10 -15 reps, for up to 3 sets if you can. Although the first few reps may seem okay, this is a tough exercise that will make those quads, hamstrings and glutes burn!
Variations: if you want to start out a little easier just drop your body twice instead of three times. If you want to make it more difficult, perform the exercise holding dumbbells or weights.
