Serious Fitness is a personal training and fitness studio based in Coburg, Melbourne, with regular bootcamp classes held in Coburg, Bulleen and Carlton. Our services include, one-on-one personal training, group personal training and group exercise classes including, Bootcamp, Powercise (like Zumba), Lean Ladies and Knockout - a mixed martial arts based program to get your heart pumping. Our focus is on creating great base fitness, getting results, improving your nutrition, all while having some serious fun!

Vegetable Lentil Burgers

Vegetarian meals aren’t as boring as you think. Here’s an exciting, tasty meal…..

Ingredients

 

400g can of brown lentils, drained & rinsed

2 tablespoons cornflour

¼ teaspoon minced chilli (optional)

½ teaspoon cumin

2 egg whites, lightly beaten

1 medium carrot, grated

2 medium zucchinis, grated

1 tablespoon fresh coriander leaves, chopped

 

Method

 

In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients well and form into portion-sized burgers.

 

Preheat gill to medium heat and grill burgers for about 5 minutes each side or until cooked through and golden brown.

 

Serve with a fresh salad or steamed vegetables.

 

Serves 4

 

Suitable for breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, or special occasions.
